The current state of Failed The Hero is this. Two of the original members, Craig (guitarist) and Olin (vocals and guitar), have added Kevial on bass.
They are now looking for a drummer to join them to try and get the band back on the go to play their own material at gigs and also to record a release of some sort as a band.
However......
Rather than just wait around until a drummer joins and then show them all the songs at a practice venue Craig and Olin have decided to do some foundation work (nothing to do with Craig's level of Maths in High School) so that they don't need to do this should they actually find a drummer.
Website
Currently Craig is putting his college class learnings to use and is creating a website for the band to feature content such as pics, videos, gig info and various other random shenanigins that will help people to find out about the band. It is also being used as a direct way for people to contact the band other than social networking sites which can be quite a pain sometimes. The website is also being developed with a lot of help from the web developer Stealth (he's so stealthy he even uses a cardboard box like Snake in Metal Gear Solid).
Song Writing
There were a total of 6 songs that were written for Failed The Hero's first and only set they've used since the beginning with 3 more songs that weren't used.
Since deciding he would like to get the band back together Olin has made it his job to write more songs so that they have a decent amount of songs to choose from before entering the recording studio.
The current list of songs as of March is:

With the reformation of the band comes some new gear being used by the boys. Olin is now rocking out on a BC Rich Flying V which he managed to acquire for 15 GBP. Craig is still using his Les Paul Black Beauty. As for amps Olin now uses a Line 6 Flextone III (that was once owned and used by Logan Foord of No Exit Wound) and Craig is using a Laney World Series 120 Twin Reverb Amp from the 80's. This was also used and owned by Logan Foord and has also been used by Olin in the first lineup of Failed The Hero at most of their gigs.
